The setup for this painting incorporated a couple of color cards to alter the hues within the surface of the shell.  This made for some interesting painting time.

Got this little package of complimentary mints on a return flight from Australia.  Small and about the size of my thumb.  The actual mints were pea sized.  I eat most of them during this painting.  A bit hard on the teeth.
